About travelingmitch

Hey, I'm Christopher Mitchell. I’m a Canadian travel writer and content creator based in Toronto.

I'm from Toronto, but it's difficult to pinpoint where exactly my home is. In the process of trying to find out, I've laid roots in Oslo, Seoul, Istanbul and a few other spots, but the question and the curiosity still remain. 

I've been writing about and documenting my travels for a little while now, some ten or so years. I've visited 80 countries along the way, and since I don't plan on stopping anytime soon, it only seems right that I continue to reflect upon and share my adventure. 

Of course, now the journey is about helping you on your travels.

Since I founded travelingmitch, there has largely been one constant, and that's my travel partner and editor-in-life, Bri. She's the reason I often use the pronoun "we," and also the reason I'm so often smiling in the photos. Thankfully for all of us, she’s been writing a lot more for travelingmitch these days and taking hold of the brand, mstravelingmitch.

I’m also the Founder of the Cofounder of the Toronto Bloggers Collective, a community dedicated to supporting content creators like myself in making a career out passion.  

I also have another site on for those interested in just Ontario travel called “Ultimate Ontario,” that I run with my good friend, Kevin Wagar.
