This Week in Blogging is one of the fastest growing newsletters for bloggers and content creators to follow what’s going in the industry.
If the last couple of months have taught me anything, it’s that humanity needs to spend a fair bit more time thinking about “we,” as opposed to “I.”
In that spirit, I began to talk to my pal Jeremy Jones who runs the popular travel website “Discover the Burgh” about how we might leverage our own blogging expertise to help others with their own path in blogging.
Our conversations turned into plans, and our plans turned into action, and, all of a sudden, This Week in Blogging was born.
Wait, What’s “This Week in Blogging?”
Well, I’m happy you asked.
This Week in Blogging, simply put, is a free weekly newsletter that aims to follow and report on any pertinent blogging news for that week, while also offering some blogging tips and tricks, sourcing expert advice, running giveaways, and providing discounts and exclusive offers.
It’ll arrive in your inbox each and every Tuesday for the time being. We’ll let you know if that changes, or if we make the newsletter twice weekly or what have you. At this point, we’re growing with you, and a lot of our direction will be a result of feedback.
In short, this is a project from two bloggers who have over twenty years of combined experience, believe in the power of blogging, and want to help other bloggers in their own blogging journey.
Who is This Week in Blogging For?
Both Jeremy and I are cognizant of the fact that we want this newsletter to serve as many people as possible, and to ensure that our efforts are having the greatest possible impact. Part of that is making sure we’re keeping a fairly wide breadth of readers in mind.
Generally speaking, This Week in Blogging will be useful for the following people:
New bloggers who want to understand what conversations are happening in the blogging world
Longtime bloggers who want to keep up to date on blogging news without having to do the research themselves
Any blogger looking for tips and tricks that can give them a competitive edge, but also just keep them curious and trying to grow
Individuals who haven’t yet started a blog, but want to know just what this blogging thing is all about
Digital marketers who want to stay up to date on content creation and social media news
Anybody building a brand using a website and social media
Bloggers or content creators who want to understand how to spend their money to get the greatest output from it
Bloggers who are looking to get serious about blogging and start generating income
Bloggers who like exclusive deals and offers, and appreciate the chance to win things totally for free without all those strange strings attached
Will “This Week in Blogging” Always be Free?
In one word, yes.
Jeremy and I are committed to ensuring that we’re providing everyone with an equal opportunity to engage with this content and get into blogging.
